Course of Study

The Course of Study (COS) is a basic theological education program prescribed by the Book of Discipline and offered by the General Board of Higher Education and Ministry. At this Course of Study Online Learning Center, you can enroll and complete many of the traditional basic correspondence courses as well as access resources and course-work for the regional schools.

In order to take any courses, you must first register with the Course of Study office through the General Board of Higher Education and Ministry (GBHEM). Download the application form to begin the registration process. The form must be signed and mailed with your course fee payments to the address on the form. If you are new to the Course of Study Online Learning Center, please complete the Moodle Basics Course first so you will be confident in navigating this site and successful in completing your courses. You do not need to register with GBHEM to take this introductory Moodle course, and it is free to all COS students.
